- Move this job: the status buttons (Start work, Send to QA,
Complete, Cancel). The system will refuse a move that breaks the rules and
tell you why.
- Diagnosis: the technician writes findings and root cause here
before repair starts.
- Repair tasks: break the job into tasks, then Start and
Complete each one, recording labour hours.
- Parts issued: issue spares against this job. The system will not
let stock go below zero.
- Quality inspection: QA records the result here. A Fail
sends the job back for rework automatically.
Remember: a job cannot be marked Completed until an inspection has
passed, and cancelling always needs a written reason.
